Sri Sankara School, as it was then known, owes its inception to the inspiration provided by The Paramacharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam. It was inaugurated on June 21, 1970.  The mission of the school is to empower students with excellent academic knowledge and confidence to face the challenges in life, while imparting a sense of moral and social responsibility and helping them evolve into resourceful citizens.
