National High School was established in 1913 as Anglo Tamil School. At present the school has two campuses, one at Sarat Bose Road (affiliated to WBBSE & WBCHSE) and the other at Hazra Road (affiliated to CBSE). Both schools function under the aegis of N.R.Iyer Memorial Education Society. Now in its 107th year the school aims to provide a comprehensive & value based education to its pupils at an affordable cost. The focus is on creating conscientious and responsible future citizens.
