Nachiketa Higher Secondary School, Napier Town came into existence  in the year 1986 and it was named after a child prodigy “Nachiketa” whose character is beautifully dipiected in kathoponishad.  Founders were inspired by swami Vivekanand as “helping Person to manifest the perfection already in man”. Though the medium of instruction was  English, the learning environment structured for children in school was aimed to be rooted in Indian ethos which continues till today. It conducts classes from primary to higher secondary level.
