Lokmanya Vidya Niketan School was founded on 1 st July 1983 by Lokmanya Housing Co-operative Society. The school was started with 2 rooms and 100 students. In 1996, school got affiliation as Higher Secondary School. Since then school is run by Lokmanya Shiksha Samiti. This is the only school of India that is run by Lokmanya Nagar residents. This school is moving forward on the path of progress. In 2001, the school was rewarded and got place in the first 10 schools of M.P. Thus, Chief Minister Digvijay Singh rewarded the school.
