It was on December 23, 1994 when foundation stone of Dashmesh Public Senior Secondary School, Kaind (Ludhiana) was laid by Jathedar Santokh Singh Margind on an inspiration and sincere efforts made by Late Sardar Lakhmer Singh- the then Chairman of the Managing Committee of the School. Since the year 1995, the School has been successfully working, following its motto "Subh karman te kabhu na taro". The idea of establishing this educational institution was not only to render educational services in and around the Village Kaind but also to set an idea to do good deeds and to be truthful whatever the cost may be.
