Chinmaya Vidyalayas are run under the auspices of the Central Chinmaya Mission Trust, Mumbai, in different parts of the country. The Vidyalaya in each place is administered by a Managing Committee, consisting of representatives of Chinmaya Mission Centers and eminent personalities and educationalists. This Vidyalaya is a unit of Chinmaya Mission Educational and Cultural Trust, (Greater Cochin) which also controls four other Vidyalayas – at Vaduthala, Tripunithura, Kottayam and Alappuzha. The Vidyalaya is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (Affiliation No. 930485). The students are given training in such varied activities like yoga, music, art and craft and contemporary and classical dance.
