Ajanta Public School, Basant Avenue, Amritsar  came onto existence on 1st March, 1984. Monsieur Jean Jacque Magraner, Pedagogic Counselor, Embassy of France, New Delhi Visited the school on the same day. The school is the realization of the Visionary dreams and aspiration of late Smt Swaran Kapoor, who had always earnestly desired to build an institution where children would obtain good education in all its encompassing sense.
